Guarantee
We prepare our own clay, so our British-Made terracotta flowerpots all carry a frostproof guarantee for one year against lamination in the frost.
For every British Flowerpots Ltd flowerpot purchase, please retain your dated receipt and Swing Tag as proof of purchase.

If you believe your pot has laminated in the frost, send us pictures and we will take it from there. We will replace or provide a refund for any pot that has laminated in the frost within the guarantee period.
-
Any flowerpot purchased as a ‘second’ from our factory shop is not covered by our Frostproof Guarantee.
-
If you purchased your flowerpot from a retail outlet, please refer your claim directly to that establishment.

Discontinued Product Range & Historical Guarantees
Please note that the Yorkshire Flowerpots range, formerly produced by Naylor Drainage Ltd, was officially discontinued in August 2023. Following this discontinuation, the pottery that manufactured the Yorkshire Flowerpots line was permanently closed.

In March 2024, Naylor Drainage Ltd entered into a joint venture with Smith & Jennings Ltd to form a new and independent business entity: British Flowerpots Ltd. A new, purpose-built pottery was commissioned on the Naylor site in Cawthorne; however, this facility and the British Flowerpots brand are entirely separate and unaffiliated with the previous Yorkshire Flowerpots operation. The Yorkshire Flowerpot company and its production methods, materials, and guarantees no longer exist.

British Flowerpots now manufactures a number of distinct British-made flowerpot ranges, including those under the Smith & Jennings and Cawthorne Pottery Company labels. These are new product lines made by a new business, and are not covered by any guarantees or warranties previously issued by Naylor Drainage Ltd or the Yorkshire Flowerpot brand.

We understand that Yorkshire Flowerpots previously offered customers a 50-year frostproof guarantee. However, as that company has ceased operations and no longer exists as a legal or trading entity, British Flowerpots is not responsible for honouring or processing any claims, refunds, or replacements related to that historic guarantee.

We respectfully ask customers with Yorkshire Flowerpots products to understand that British Flowerpots cannot provide support or liability for goods sold under a now-closed and unrelated business.
