British Flowerpots was established in March 2024, as a joint venture between Naylor Industries and Smith & Jennings.

Naylor's is a 4th generation family business which has been manufacturing clay pipes & ceramic products since its foundation in 1890; its Yorkshire Flowerpots range (now Cawthorne Pottery Company) dates back to the early 1990's.

Smith & Jennings is a family-run pottery established in South Wales in 2013, by husband and wife Simon and Marie Smith. They each have over 30 years of experience in the ceramics industry. Together they have established a pre-eminent business, known for its exceptionally high-quality planters, unique colours and industry-leading designs.

 

Thanks to this new joint venture, British Flowerpots is proud to now be the largest producer of British-made garden pottery in the UK.
