Simon Smith
Simon has over 35 years of experience in the ceramic industry, having graduated from the University of Cardiff in 1989 with a degree in Ceramics.
​
His career has taken him around the world, gaining invaluable experience, before returning to the UK in 2013 to co-found Smith & Jennings Pottery alongside his wife, Marie.
​
While Simon’s role is largely managerial, he still takes to the pottery wheel whenever he can and is passionate about passing on his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of makers.
​
Simon is excited about what lies ahead for British Flowerpots and is proud to continue producing high-quality, British-made pottery for the UK market.
